A Healthy Ecosystem for Day Schools

  • Minneapolis Jewish Federation | Barry Family Campus 4330 Cedar Lake Road Minneapolis United States (map)

Join us for a two-hour, interactive session where we’ll envision the future of a vibrant and healthy ecosystem for Jewish day schools in Minneapolis.

Through a series of fast-paced and collaborative exercises, we will explore the question:

What does it look like for our community to have a thriving ecosystem of day schools?

Notice that this topic is not about specific programs, learning objectives, or graduation rates—those are up to the experts... the schools themselves.

Instead, we're taking a community-wide view of what Federation's unique role can be: ensuring that our community has a range of options available to families. To take this community-wide perspective we might consider:

  • The breadth and health of the faculty talent pool

  • The diversity of experiences and opportunities for students and families

  • How to enable each school to be the best version of itself

  • How to empower schools to be agile and innovative

  • What gaps exist in our existing ecosystem and how to close them

This workshop is open to the entire community: families, alumni, faculty, administrators, rabbis, and donors.
